Remus sighed as he opened yet ANOTHER door and did not find his lover, they had gotten into a fight earlier and Severus had stormed off in anger and sadness.

Once he had calmed down, Remus felt bad and had begun the search for his dark beau, alas Snape manor was huge and Severus knew it better than him. Remus had to admit, this fight wasn't one of the little petty ones that long time lovers had. Severus had brought up marriage out of the blue, asking how he felt about it, if he liked the idea, all those questions made Remus think that Severus didn't trust him, feared that Remus would leave, or doubted his feelings. When he voiced this Severus had flew off the handle yelling that everything wasn't always about him, Remus had retaliated and Severus had run.

Remus turned down an unfamiliar corridor with two doors on either side of the hall. He opened the left one and found a child's bed/play room that looked as if it had not been used in 20 or so years. Severus was no where to be found within the room. Remus was beginning to get worried, he didn't want Severus to think that he wasn't trying to make things right. He closed the door gently and faced the opposite door, walking toward it he heard the sounds of quite crying, knowing he had caused those tears saddened Remus, he slowly opened the door to reveal a nursery, a boy's if he wasn't mistaken. His lover was curled up on a window seat a small velvet blanket in his lap and a Teddy bear clutched to his chest, the man's shoulders were shaking with tears.

Remus instantly was across the room wrapping his arms around his lover, cradling him close, eyes filling with tears of sadness that he had caused Severus pain. "Sev, honey, I'm so sorry I yelled at you, I was worried you didn't trust me and that upset me, please don't think for a second that I wouldn't marry you, it's one of my goals and dreams, I love you so much, babe, please don't cry." Remus pleaded with the love of his life, gently rocking them back and forth. Severus cuddled into him, slowly starting to calm down. Once he could speak, he yearned toward Remus, slight fear in his eyes.

"I'm sorry too, my love, I shouldn't have bombarded you with the topic of marriage so suddenly, I was just so worried you'd leave me when you found out..." Severus trailed off and looked down at the floor nervously.

"Found out what my love? There's nothing I can think of that would make me want to leave you," Remus reassured, lovingly running his fingers through Severus's silky hair.

Severus laughed bitterly, looking around the room, "You know, this used to be my nursery, I used to sleep in that crib, lie on that changing table, and play in that playpen, I never thought that our son would make use of it as I once had." Once his piece was said, Severus once more looked to the floor.

"Son? Oh my god, my love are you, are we going to...?, Oh my god you're pregnant!" Remus smiled through tears of joy, slipping his arms around Sev's waist, rubbing his still flat stomach, "Hey there little guy, I'm so excited your here, I can't wait until your born, then I can spoil you rotten and give you all of my love, of course you'll have to share with your other daddy, or mommy, you chose."

Severus was surprised that Remus was this excited, He himself had always dreamed of having kids, but Remus had never brought up the subject so Severus assumed he didn't want kids, apparently he was very wrong, "I'll have you know that I will not agree to being called mommy, even if I carry the child, think of something else, please."

Remus chuckled, "As you wish love, anything for you."
